The southern part is blocked by burning wreckage, but is easy dealt with if you have Iceman or Storm in your team. The long way winds north and pushes through a few Scourge groups. They're not too tough and only come in small numbers from the start so it's easy experience and, if you're feeling fancy, there are alternate routes to take at the start. Insect monsters called Scourge Critters infest the Dead Zone. Once you're ready, talk to Sabertooth and get the low down on the most pressing matter at the moment - it seems Blink is in trouble. Used to change team members, save the game, and teleport to other Xtraction Points in the game. Used to view collected comic book pages and view other extras/unlockables in the game. Used to store items outside your immediate inventory. Gives experience for those with X-Men mythos under their belt. BeastĬomputer tests and rewards your battle skill.
